Well Sagacity, finally you come to this domain I have been eagerly expecting you to drop a few lines
First of all let me commend the corrections made by leogaga. I find them most satisfactory, and to the point.
@leogaga: I am looking forward to your future activity on this forum, cheers
@Sagacity: Since you have been expecting me to correct you, I shall comply and provide you with another slightly altered version of your text
I have been on a trip to London for a period of seven days, so I would like to share my impressions with you. Regardless of the fact that I am not very good at speaking English (I'm a + dufferI presume that this is slightly more appropriate term, though I would avoid using it for foreign languages) I have had copious communication and ... what is most important ... nobody had trouble understanding me.
Some friends of mine extended their invitation to me, and that turned out to be an excellent opportunity to see everything that I find of interest. Amongst other, these are the more notable of locations that I have visited: the London Eye (I took a ride on it), Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, (I had a cruise along the Thames), Oxford Street, Notting Hill, Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden ... etc.
Also, I have visited Madam Tussauds museum and I was in the Novello Theatre where I had an opportunity to watch Mamma Mia. In London I usually travelled by underground or taxi.
I realized that people there are excessive drinkers, so I had trouble matching them. It wasn't possible. Also they mix different kinds of drinks. And.... what is most interesting, they seem not to get drunk.
I tried different kinds of meals and drinks, and I have to state that London is the most beautiful town that I have ever seen.
I am aware of the fact that my English is not very good, but I don’t have any complex about that and I would like to chat here, because it is an excellent opportunity for me (and all of us) to improve English language.
Now, I'm waiting for Fil or Bluewortex to correct mistake which I have made in this text...
p.s. It was no easy feat to write after Silija who speaks English fluently.

@bluewortex "slightly altered" indeed. This reminds me of a book by Raymond Queneau en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exercises_in_Style in which one story was told in about 100 different ways. It was also translated in Serbian by Danilo Kiš and can be found in our bookstores.
to y'all
