I do have friends but not a 'real' friend. I tho' I had until recently when some things went wrong and I saw the real face of the person I trusted to. In fact, it happened more than 4-5 times, sadly, but hey it's a life.
Anyway I wanted to ask, the writing on my avatar, when I use "forge" it does get the new meaning right ? As in "craft", if I'm not wrong I think "forge" was used earlier in old style language for that purpose ?
One more thing, is "tho' " proper form of "thought" or just an internet usage form that is not proper ?
Cheers

1 - tho' is short form of though - although, however, nevertheless
the term that you wanted to use is - thought - Past tense and past participle of think
2 - I believe you should put in instead of to, but correct me if I'm wrong
3 - instead of it's a, you should put that's
forge on your avatar would mean creation, you are making (creating, manufacturing) your destiny, your chosen way of life. You are building your own path to walk on.
Detailed enough?

Those were days
You forgot to put an article:
Those were the days.
I think that you can use "forge" for that purpose. Here is one meaning of that verb:
Citat:to form or make, especially by concentrated effort: to forge a friendship through mutual trust.
I don't know what to say about this "friendship topic" but my estimation of persons is based on energy that someone emits . A kind of emotional and holistic experience.
I'm so freakin' glad that somebody decided to open this topic, any practice is good practice and practicing a language you don't normally use is always good practice. Get it ?
I have a lot of experience, and believe me, a lot of people (from Serbia) know how to speak English, and to understand, and even to translate, but when it comes to writing, they make hundreds of thousands mistakes.
OK, this way, on the internet and computer, we have these "Spell-Checkers", so it's pretty much easy, but let's see it on the paper gentlemen.

Couldn't agree more. But on the bright side, even native speakers are lousy at spelling
