Kako tačno ustanoviti koja je trenutna zvanična verzija Google Chrome?

Ove v2.xxxx su Beta verzije ili šta?

NoOneEver Dreams ::Google Chrome 2.0.159.0

Kad skinem ChromeSetup.exe on ima verziju v1.2.133.37 (skinuo pola sata pre ovog posta).

Kad instaliram Chrome, on u About Google Chrome komentaru prikazuje v1.0.154.48.

Na stanici http://www.google.com/chrome ne piše koja je trenutna verzija koja se skida kao kod Firefoxa ili Opere.

Pa chromesetup i sam chrome nisu iste aplikacije, tako da je logicno da imaju razlicite verzije. Inace, zvanicna verzija chromea je u trenutku mog pisanija 1.0.154.48, kao i tvoja.
Dakle, te 2.0 verzije su iz dev kanala, sto mu znaci nesto kao "beta verzija". Ako hoces da menjas kanale, nadji na netu chromechannel (http://chromium.googlecode.com/files/chromechannel-2.0.exe) i sa njim predji na beta ili dev kanal.

Da li postoji način da se pre skidanja instalacije za Chrome proveri koja je verzija koja će biti instalirana. Kao što sam rekao na stranici Firefoxa ili Opere se tačno vidi koju verziju skidate. To sa Chrome nije slučaj.

Ako skidas sa zvanicnog sajta, installer ce uvek da ti skine poslednju stable verziju, osim ako nisi nesto menjao sa chromechannel chooserom...

pixxel ::Dakle, te 2.0 verzije su iz dev kanala, sto mu znaci nesto kao "beta verzija". Ako hoces da menjas kanale, nadji na netu chromechannel (http://chromium.googlecode.com/files/chromechannel-2.0.exe) i sa njim predji na beta ili dev kanal.
Laik sam, pa bih zeleo samo malo opsirnije pojasnjenje ovoga. Iliti, sta je to "dev kanal" ?
Nisam imao pojma da sam ovde kacio download linkove za verzije koje nisu zvanicne.
Evo moje logike (koja ocigledno nije tacna):
Sve sto nema "beta", "alpha" itd. sufixe je zvanicna verzija.
Verzije sam proveravao i linkove postavljao sa sofpedie, a ne sa http://www.google.com/chrome , zbog

Dali mi neko moze reci odakle skinuti Chrome instalaciju bez onog skidanja posredstvom onog downloadera kao sto je slucaj pri skidanju sa zvanicnog sajta, znam da je neko vec dao link negde i skidao sam al nemogu da se setim odakle.....
Dugo nisam instalirao Chrome, neznam dal jos instalira one gluposti pri instalaciji ili je sad u pitanju samo Chrome bez dodatnih servisa?
