^ Ево и потпуног објашњења (special thnx to Viceroy, MyCity Military):Citat:Remember when a passenger uploaded a picture of what appears to be duct tape on their aircraft to social media? The image was shared thousands of times, with comments ranging from jokes to genuine concern. The last thing you’d want to see before getting on an aircraft is duct tape stuck to the wing or engine, especially if you’re a nervous flyer. The good news is that this so-called duct tape is in fact not duct tape at all. The shiny silvery tape you see stuck to your aircraft is called "speed tape".
Speed tape is not a fancy term for duct tape that’s been applied to aircraft, speed tape is a heavy-duty aluminum bonding tape. The tape, which is corrosion, water and solvent resistant, is only used as a temporary fix to non critical parts. The tape is very durable, it can expand and contract through a range of temperatures. Speed tape is also resistant to fires or flames and able to reflect heat and UV rays.
Due to its similar appearance, speed tape is often mistaken for duct tape... http://blog.aviationjobsearch.com/blog/news/duct-tape-to-fix-plane/
