Pre instalacije definišete šta želite da rom ima, koji kernel, koji radio, određene korisne apps, gapps su u ROM-u, hoćete li raditi overclock GPU, CPU, wallpapers, boot animaciju, ako se posle predomislite, samo ponovo pokrenete installer i dodate i oduzmete šta želite.
Ima Pdroid kao opciju što je jedna fantastična stvar - nema više skrivenih permisija i svaku permisiju možete da enablujete ili disablujete bez straha da ćete zakucati aplikaciju, UpdateMe aplikacija je integrisana kao OTA, HTC DumLock, birate hoćete li superuser ili supersu, font, bekapuje postojeća podešavanja i eksportuje ih na novu instalaciju, AwsomeBeats sa beatsaudio, AOKP vremensu prognozu na lockscreen.
