The main purpose of this topic is to conduct all discussion in English language (only exception is the translation of this opening post, in order for everyone to understand the rules and limitations of this topic). It is envisaged to provide practice, vocabulary expending, and increasement of proficiency in overall English language usage. Everyone is welcome to ask questions, and/or seek assistance in understanding some subject, and/or solving some quandary, as long as it is asked in English; therefore it is only natural that anyone providing the answer shall be obliged to do so in English. Daily chit-chat is allowed, for as long as it does not turn into spamming and/or trolling.

Rules that that will be exerted:
- Only English language posts allowed,
- Every non English post will be deleted,
- No profanities,
- No spamming and/or trolling.

And, just to remind you all - this is written English, so we should not use abbreviations.
And, just something that drew my attention - when we say English, of course there is no any article, but if we say English language, we should put an article - the English language.

Hm... In our grammar it is said that 'language' is always followed by 'the' in front of the mentioned language.

So, let's start with questions.
When goes 'the' and when it is omitted?

I would say that "the" is used when we want to emphasize on the language at hand.
