Calculate Linux

Calculate je Linux distribucija bazirana na Gentoo-u koji je poznat po svojoj stabilnosti.
Namenja je manjim i srednjim preduzećima koje žele da koriste open source umesto vlasničkog non-free softvera.
Calculate Linux pruža kompletno rešenje za server i uspešno može za zameni Windows NT.
Dolazi u nekoliko grafičkih okruženja; KDE, GNOME i XFCE.
Stabilna verzija je 11.3.

Calculate Linux 11.3 dolazi sa kernelom verzije 2.6.36.3, Chromium 10.0.648.127, LibreOffice 3.3.1 i X.Org 7.4.
Serverska verzija kernela Calculate Linuxa 11.3 je 2.6.32.28.

Linux Calculate 11.6 beta 1

Povodom cetvrte godisnjice projekta Linux Calculate je objavio verziju 11.6 beta 1 koja je dostupna za preuzimanje i testiranje.
Kao sto je pomenuto Linux Calculate je zasnovan na snaznoj Linux distribuciji Gentoo.
Dostupne su verzije sa KDE, GNOME i Xfce grafickim kruzenjima kao i serverska verzija.

Network client-server solutions via SOAP/WSDL are supported.

Both console and graphical interfaces are implemented.

Multiple installation is supported: that is, you can install CL on several storage media at once, locally as well as remotely.

Trebao bi ovaj distro da se proba.
Sve najbolje sam čuo o njemu.

Ako neko ima iskustva, neka napiše par reči kako se pokazala ova distribucija u praksi.

Дао сам комшији диск са овом дистрибуцијом и веома је задовољан како ради и то без инсталације на хард, у питању је верзија 11.15 са XFC окружењем.
Иначе, рачунар је старији, са 512MB RAM-а...
