Ubuntu ne pamti rezoluciju!

Instalirao sam drajvere za Graf. karticu, u term. kucam nvidia-settings, tamo namestim 1440X990, i normalno radi, do restarta!
Vrati se na 1024X768!
Kako da ga nateram da je zapamti?

Ajde pokreni nvidia-settings ponovo, namesti zeljenu rezoluciju i pogledaj da li se nakon pokretanja xorg.conf menja ili ostaje isti kao ovaj koji si postovao. Ako se menja, postuj taj drugaciji xorg.conf.

Koliko ja vidim to je isti xorg.conf. Znaci nista se nije promenilo.

Btw, koji je monitor u pitanju? Mozda nije dobro ni podesavanje monitora u xorg.conf-u... Btw, pre nego sto ovo gore sacuvas kao xorg.conf, backupuj stari.

cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf ~/xorg.conf.backup
sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Da ne otvaram novu temu, da li je moguće u Linuxu da nateram ovaj monitor na 60 Hz Refresh Rate-a?
U Windowsu mi radi tako!
Sada mi nudi samo 50 i 51 Hz.

Moguce ako mu se nasteluju refresh rates u odeljku "monitor" xorg.conf-a (pod uslovom da monitor podrzava 60hz). Ja ti gore i napisah nesto u vezi toga, ali nisam imao vremena da trazim na netu.

Govorim o ovom delu Xorg.conf-a:
