 Aplikacija Wheres My Droid je aplikacija za nalaženje izgubljenog, ukradenog telefona/tableta.Nagrađivana je 6 puta za najbolju aplikaciju ovog tipa, od 2009-2012-te.

Ring opcija
Pokrenite aplikaciju i tapnite na opciju Ring Setup
Pod opcijom attention word izbrišite wmd ring i upišite reči po vašoj želji, i tapnite na Save
Morate obratiti pažnju na reči koje smete upisati, a to su
Citat:Samo mala slova
Ne možete upisivati simbole
Može biti jedna reč
Najmanje tri slova mora biti u reči
Ne možete pisati iste reči koje se nalaze u ponuđenim opcijama
Mogućnosti RING opcije
Izgubili ste telefon, pošaljite poruku sa tekstom koji ste upisali, i telefon će početi da zvoni, vibrira, čuje kao sirena, neprestano
GPS opcija
Omogućite GPS dok odradite podešavanje ove opcije, posle toga isključite
Pokrenite aplikaciju i tapnite na GPS Setup
Pod opcijom attention word izbrišite wmd ring i upišite reči po vašoj želji, i tapnite na Save

Mogućnosti GPS opcije
Izgubili ste telefon pošaljite poruku sa tekstom koji ste upisali, i dobićete do četiri poruke.
-Prva poruka sadrži vas informiše da je poruka primljena i šalje GPS kordinate
-Druga poruka sadrži latitude i longitude
-Treća poruka sadrži link od Google map-a
-Četvrta poruka sadrži adresu na kojoj se nalazi telefon-Najbolja opcija
Ne mojte sami sebi slati poruku za ovu opciju, jer možete izazvati bootlop
Passcode opcija ( upisivanje brojčane šifre )
Pokrenite aplikaciju i tapnite na opciju Security Settings
Tapnite na Passcode
Čekirajte opciju Enable
Upišite vašu šifru ( Najmanje 4-ri broja ) i tapnite na Save
Ako iskoristite ovu opciju, onda pri svakom pokretanju aplikacije, morate ukucati brojčanu šifru.Šifra ne utiče na zaključavanje uređaja.
Aplikacija nudi još i SIM, E-MAIL,BLACK/WHITE LIST opcije, SIM opcija je još u test fazi i ne garantuju da će raditi.Ja sam predstavio nekoliko opcija, a na vama je da istražujete dalje opcije koje nudi ova sjajna aplikacija.
Lite verzija nudi mogućnost da se instalira sa daljine, ako nemate instaliranu aplikaciju.Potrebno je samo da se ulogujete na vaš Google nalog i instalirate aplikaciju
Nudi dve opcije GPS i Ring, šaljete poruke sa textom wmd ring ili wmd gps i dobijate mogućnosti kao u Free verziji

Full internet access - This is used to do the street address lookup when you get the GPS location of your device and for the ads
View network state - Used for ads
Your location
Fine (GPS) location - This is needed to get your devices GPS and network based locaiton
Phone calls
Read phone state and identity - To see when phone calls come thought to make the call feature work in the Pro version
System tools
Prevent phone from sleeping - In order for GPS to work the device has to come out of sleep mode first (does not prevent sleep all the time)
Automatically start at boot - Used to check sim card on every boot for a different sim card
Your messages
Receive SMS - This is how the app reads incoming messages to check for the attention word
Services the cost you money
Send SMS messages - Used to send a message back to the sending phone with the gps location of your device (doesn't cost you money if you have texting on your plan)
Hardware controls
Change your audio settings - To change the devices volume level off of silent and all the way up
Control vibrate - Used to engage the vibrator while ringing when lost
Take pictures and video - This is needed to access the camera. Thats how we flash the camera LED on ring to help find the phone. This is also used to take pictures remotely to help track down your phone.
Your personal information
Read contact data - Call log is a part of the contacts area of the phone storage and the call log is needed to check the calling number again the saved special number to activate the app (only in Pro version)
Storage
Modify/delete SD card contents - This is used for the remote wipe feature in Pro. Remote wipe can factory reset the device and also format the SD card as well. This is also needed for the camera feature, it allows the app to first save the image to the SD card before uploading to our servers.
Default
Modify battery statistics - Currently not in use, its a work in progress feature that will send out and alert on low battery. Usually with the GPS coords
You may also wonder why the free version needs some of the same access that the Pro version needs and thats because the free version contains the same exact app as the Pro but needs an unlock code to active these features.
