m4rk0 ::Take with a grain of salt - uzeti zdravo za gotovo
Ovo bi značilo "uzeti nešto s rezervom" (skepticizmom).
--> to consider something to be not completely true or right
Primer:
I've read the article, which I take with a grain of salt.
Dakle, pročitao sam članak, ali ga uzimam "s rezervom".
Uzeti zdravo za gotovo bi bilo "take for granted".

m4rk0 ::Beat around the bush - Obilaziti kao kisa oko Kragujevca
Ići "okolo kole", ili vrdati.
Stop beating around the bush and answer my question. Let's stop beating about the bush and discuss this matter.

m4rk0 ::Best of both worlds - sve prednosti (necega)
Ne, nego "najbolje od oba sveta"
// Benefits from two seemingly opposed alternatives
Primer:
With Windows XP Mode, you get the best of both worlds. You can get all the benefits from Windows 7, and continue to use what you already have.

Pa ne baš... Znači "priključiti se trendu"
Join a growing movement in support of someone or something, often in an opportunist way, when that movement is seen to have become successful.

@ Mare
To je bila dopuna, jer prvi put čujem ovo "Kiša oko Kragujevca".
Ali definitivno ću proći prvu poruku teme, gde je indeks, čim nađem vremena.
