Alpha takodje poseduje naucne laboratorije i 52 racunara!
Najvise 8 astronauta moze ziveti na Alpha-i. Naravno nema gravitacije, pa zivot nije isti kao na Zemlji. Astronauti obicno spavaju oko 8 sati svake noci, ne u krevetima vec specijalnim vrecama za spavanje koji su pricvrsceni uz zidove. Takodje, clanovi posade se ne mogu kupati u bestezinskim uslovima tako da se peru vlaznom odecom. Jednom dnevno, oko 30-ak minuta, voze bicikl kako bi ostali u kondiciji.
