Dishing the goods today, ShackNews has received confirmation of an October 9th, 2007 release date for Valve Software's upcoming Half-Life 2: Orange Box package, which is said to include the original Half-Life 2, both Episode One and Episode Two expansions, Portal and Team Fortress 2. Sure to make some of our readers happy, the report also notes that Steam users will be able to purchase and download the new games separately.
