U bliskoj nam budućnosti,vanzemaljska rasa po imenu Formics napada Zemlju sa ciljem da je uništi.
Poslednju i najjaču liniju odbrane čine vojnici pod komandom legendarnog zapovednika Mazera Rackhama koga tumači Ben Kingsley koji uspevaju da odbiju prvi napad vanzemaljaca i tako barem nakratko spasu Zemlju i njene stanovnike.
U očekivanju drugog napada, pukovnik Hyrum Graff (Harrison Ford) kreće u potragu za naslednikom Mazera i regrutuje mladog i briljatnog Endera Wiggina i šalje ga na vojnu akademiju u Zemljinoj orbiti gde će proći trening i naučiti kako da se suprostavi vanzemaljcima koji prete Zemlji jer upravo Ender i njegovi saborci predstavljaju poslednju nadu i poslednju liniju odbrane u borbi protiv vanzemaljaca.
Pored već pomenutih Bena Kingsleya i Harrisona Forda u filmu igraju i Asa Butterfield,Hailee Steinfeld, Abigail Breslin, Viola Davis i drugi.

Plot Summary: In the near future, a hostile alien race called the Formics have attacked Earth.
