Vinux 3.0.1

Vinux je Linux distribucija zasnovana na Ubuntuu i posebno je dizajnirana za slepe i slabovide korisnike.
Podržava između ostalog i Braille pismo.
Inače verzija Vinuxa 3.0 je zasnovan na Ubuntu verziji 10.04.2 LTS dok je Vinux 3.0.1 zasnovan na Ubuntu verziji 10.10.

Citat:Vinux is a remastered version of the Ubuntu Linux Distribution optimised for visually impaired users. It provides a screen-reader, full-screen magnification and support for Braille displays out of the box! It can be run from a Live CD without making any changes to your hard drive. If you like it you can install it to a USB pendrive or to your hard drive either alongside Windows using the Virtual Version, or as a complete replacement for windows. Vinux 3.2

Vinux 3.2 je dostupan za preuzimanje.
Vinux 3.2 je distribucija koja je bazirana na Linux Ubuntuu 11.04, posebno dizajniran za slepe i slabovide korisnike.
Dolazi sa classic GNOME 2.x grafičkim okruženjem mada je dostupno i Unity okruženje prilikom odjavljivanja/prijavljivanja.

Vinux 3.2.1

The main difference between this and the recently released Vinux 3.2 is that by default it boots with PulseAudio running in 'user' mode rather than 'system' mode. This prevents PulseAudio from crashing at boot on a small number of sound cards, but it means that Speakup is not available from the live CD or immediately after installation. However, there are now two simple commands for switching PulseAudio from user to system mode in conjunction with a reboot of the machine. This version also includes an accessible Zenity front-end for UNetbootin which allows users to install Vinux to a USB pen drive with persistent storage.
