Desktop Software Developer
About the Job
UI development using Microsoft technologies like WPF
Create, maintain, and enhance features that deliver cutting edge communication & collaboration experiences - think of your favorite app for messaging, calls, or group video chat.
Develop cross-platform libraries and modules, encapsulating business logic and interfacing our Softphone SDK.
Work with our server and SDK teams to define the APIs required by the client application teams
Work within a core team of 4-5 developers, with frequent collaboration with other groups and departments
Take the lead on the design and implementation of specific features, and own it from start to finish.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
4+ years of software development, 2+ years’ of C#
Proficiency in Windows desktop application development
1+ years of experience with .NET and WPF (or XAML), and MVVM
Desire to learn new technologies and expand your area of expertise
Experience working with large code bases and revision control systems
Nice to Have…..
Experience with: SIP, XMPP, HTTP, web sockets
Experience with web technologies: JavaScript, React, node.js
An interest in UI design
Knowledge of macOS, Cocoa, XCode and/or Objective C is considered a big plus
