Apple Safari 3.1 Final
Experience the web, Apple Style, with Safari - the fastest, easiest to use web browser in the world. With its simple, elegant interface, Safari gets out of your way and lets you enjoy the web - up to 2 times faster than Internet Explorer. Now on Windows, too.
Safari has always been the fastest browser on the Mac and it’s also the fastest browser on Windows, loading and drawing web pages up to twice as fast as Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and up to 1.6 times faster than Mozilla Firefox 2.
The speed of Safari combined with its intuitive user interface lets users spend more time surfing the web and less time waiting for pages to load. Other Safari features now available to Windows users include SnapBack, one-click access to an initial search query, resizable text fields, and private browsing to ensure that information about an individual’s browsing history isn’t stored.
What’s New in this Version
This update is recommended for all Safari users and features improvements to stability, compatibility, JavaScript performance and security.

Meni bez problema otvara sve stranice.
Nervira me što nema autoscrolling.

Mozilla Welcomes Competition but Says Apple Uses Malware Distribution Practices
While Microsoft is completely mute on the automatic delivery of Safari 3.1 via Apple Software Update even to the Windows users that do not have the Mac OS X native browser installed, Mozilla Chief Executive Officer John Lilly said that the practice was "wrong." Lilly came out with an update following the original criticism stating that Mozilla welcomes competition, but maintained that the Cupertino-based hardware company hurts web security by simply undermining
"the trust relationship great companies have with their customers." After the finalization of Safari 3.1, Apple began serving the browser to all Windows users via Apple Software Update, a tool that is adjacent to software products from the Cupertino-based company such as iTunes.

Apple Pushes Safari Down the Throat of Windows Users, Like It or Not
Next time you execute Apple Software Update or when the tool launches itself, be sure to pay extra attention to the item offered for download. They might not all be updates. In fact, you might end up with Safari 3.1 on your computer without even knowing how. This because of the subtle and deceptive way that Apple has chosen to push Safari 3.1 down the throat of Windows users, like it or not.
